
1984
The firm Joquer was set up by Pedro Carretero as a small family business. Its initial business activity was the production of sofas, armchairs and auxiliary upholstery items, and six years later, it began to export its products to different countries in Europe.
1996
The production plant and headquarters were transferred to Viladecans, where the firm has remained ever since.


1997
Joquer started to work with external designers.
2012
Mario Ruiz took over the creative management department and put the firm on a new strategic course that ended with the renovation of the brand in 2017.


2017
During this expansion and evolution process, Joquer’s Mediterranean roots remained intact. The combination of modernity and artisan tradition, in addition to family values and a business vision, constitute the essence that is transmitted in each of its products.
